From solution to operational use

We bring the solution into the customer’s working environment and organise the transition to day-to-day use. Implementation may cover Milestone products, applications developed for the customer, or components included in the agreed project.

Preparation and configuration

We check working environment requirements, access, and necessary dependencies. We install and configure the components included in the project and establish the agreed parameters, roles, permissions, and functional rules. Checks focus on using the solution under the customer’s actual operating conditions.

Validated opening data

We define the data to be transferred and the transformation and verification rules. The customer participates in validating reference data and opening records. Comparing migrated information with its original sources provides a reference for checking the result.

Pilot and phased go-live

We verify representative scenarios and, where appropriate, organise a pilot for a process, department, or user group. The go-live plan specifies operations, responsibilities, checks, and acceptance conditions. For transitions affecting existing systems, continuity measures and conditions for returning to the previous configuration are established.

Start-up support and handover

During the agreed period, we monitor initial use, clarify issues, and apply adjustments arising from verification. Handover includes the implemented configuration, instructions, and responsibilities for ongoing activities. Subsequent maintenance is governed separately by contractual terms. Phased implementation helps identify issues before usage is extended.
