AMC — Measuring and Inspection Equipment Management

AMC — inspection planning and measuring equipment traceability

AMC organises measuring and inspection equipment checks, tracks movements between locations, and records use in production. Teams can consult equipment records, the history of inspection documents, and the relationship between an instrument and the parts measured with it.

Monthly inspection plans

An inspection interval, expressed in months, is defined for each item of equipment. The application uses it to generate the monthly inspection plan. Following calibration, it generates reports according to the inspection result and maintains the certificate history, providing a shared reference for equipment monitoring.

Current location and movement history

Record transfers between points of use, inspection locations, stores, and other locations. Movement history can be displayed to identify where an item of equipment is located and where it was previously used or stored. These records support coordination of activities that use the same instruments.

Linking instruments to inspected parts

Production records can include the order, operation number, work centre, product serial number, and unique equipment identifier. Recording can be simplified using a barcode scanner near the work centre. If a nonconformity is traced to a faulty instrument, the parts measured with that instrument can be identified.

Team working and extensive equipment records

The application supports multiple users with authorised access to functions. It can manage tens of thousands of items of measuring and inspection equipment and can be extended with new functionality. Inspection, location, and usage information is brought together to track equipment throughout company operations.
